ABOUT SUMMARY CONTENT
Summary Content Marketing began in 2013 with a laptop, a dream, and way too much caffeine. What started as a solo mission to help brands tell their stories has blossomed into a boutique agency crafting strategies that make businesses shine.
As a working mom and fearless female founder, I’ve built Summary with heart, hustle, and a touch of humor. We’re not just about pretty posts and trendy hashtags—we’re here to create authentic connections, bold strategies, and content that truly resonates.
At Summary, we believe in glowing up, not just growing up. Let’s take your brand from “meh” to magnetic.
Because your brand deserves the spotlight.

Chief Decider
Elisabeth “Lis” Thomas is the owner and CEO of Summary Content Marketing, a boutique brand, social media, and content strategy agency, which was founded in 2013. For more than a decade, she has helped organizations turn fuzzy ideas into clear stories and visual identities, while building loyal audiences, and achieving measurable growth. Lis believes that not just "good marketing," but thumb-stopping brands should feel less like shouting into the void and more like having a best friend by your side, understanding your needs, wants and desires as a client or customer.
Lis is also the founder and editor of Womanhood Unwrapped and a co-host of the Stages of She podcast, where she explores the many seasons of modern womanhood with curiosity, candor, and a healthy dose of humor. At heart, she is a writer and storyteller, who loves to dig into the nuances of life authenticity and accountability.
She's is a devoted wife and mother of two, which means she can manage a client launch, a school schedule, and a last-minute science project. When Lis isn't working, you will likely find her with strong coffee in hand, outside soaking up fresh air, buried in a good book, or sketching out her next big idea on whatever paper happens to be nearby.

Our Vision
To grow into the most respected and relevant branding, content, and social media firm on the West Coast — where businesses come to tell their stories, connect authentically, and grow boldly. We aim to lead the industry not only through our work but through the culture we’ve built: one that champions women, empowers creativity, and proves that success can be strategic and fun. Because when women lead and ideas flow, the possibilities are endless.
Our Mission
At Summary Content Marketing, our mission is to help brands thrive by blending smart strategy, authentic storytelling, and bold creativity. As a woman-owned and operated agency, we’re not just here to make noise—we’re here to make impact. We elevate brands with content and social strategies that are as thoughtful as they are effective, while fostering a culture where our team’s brilliance, energy, and creativity are at the root of everything we do.
Authentic Storytelling
We believe that every brand has a unique story to tell, and we’re obsessed with helping you share yours in a way that hits home. Whether it’s a heartfelt social post or a clever campaign, we’re all about creating genuine connections that spark joy (and maybe a little happy dance on the other side of the screen).
Strategic Intent
We’re not here to chase trends just because they’re shiny. We’re here to make your brand’s voice heard with strategies that are as thoughtful as they are effective. Our approach is like your favorite playlist — carefully curated, on point, and always in tune with your long-term goals.
Collaboration + Partnership
Consider us your creative partners-in-crime. We’re the ones you can trust to brainstorm, laugh, and occasionally grab that celebratory coffee (or wine) when you crush your marketing goals. Your success is our success, and we’re here to cheer you on every step of the way.
Innovation + Creativity
We thrive on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Whether it’s finding that quirky angle no one else has thought of or embracing the latest trend (hello, AI!), we love blending creativity with strategy to help your brand shine. Think of us as the creative spark that keeps your brand’s fire burning bright.
Integrity + Transparency
Honesty is our best policy, and we’re not afraid to keep it real. No fluff, no smoke and mirrors — just clear communication, straightforward advice, and honest feedback. When you work with us, you’ll always know where you stand (and probably have a good laugh along the way).
Quality + Excellence
We’re those perfectionists who still believe in the magic of a job well done. It’s not just about getting things done fast; it’s about getting them done right. From compelling copy to scroll-stopping visuals, we put our heart (and a touch of sparkle) into everything we create.
Results-Driven Focus
We’re all about that ROI life. From getting your audience to actually engage with your posts to converting followers into raving fans, we’re here to make sure your brand sees results that truly matter. And yes, we’ll be the ones celebrating with gifs and confetti when those wins come through!
Empathy + Understanding
We’re not just marketers; we’re humans first. We take the time to get to know the people behind your brand because we know that’s where the magic happens. When we truly understand your story, we can create content that’s as real and relatable as your favorite cozy sweater.
Adaptability + Growth
Change is our middle name (well, metaphorically). In a world where trends come and go like yesterday’s memes, we’re here to keep your brand fresh, relevant, and ready for whatever comes next. Whether it’s pivoting strategies or trying out a fun new platform, we embrace growth with open arms — and a healthy dose of excitement.
